Footy season is well and truly underway, with Round 3 approaching this Saturday for our Men’s Prems, Ressie’s and U19.5’s, while Women’s Prems have the Bye Round.

Following a tough start to the season in March, it was great to see our divisional teams get on the park for Round One and secure a few wins. Setting them up for a strong lead in to Round Two this weekend.

Although the clubs first win of the 2026 season technically came by way of forfeit against our U19.5’s Div 2, our Men’s Div 1 and Div 4 team picked up solid wins. Meanwhile, our Women’s Div 3 clinched a nail-biting game, leading by 1 point at half time and holding on until the final siren.

ANZAC Day is coming up, and Kogarah Clubhouse invites all St George AFC members to attend their ANZAC Day March on April 25th 2026.

Please join us to gather at 7:10am in Bellevue St, Kogarah, for the march followed by the service, and then free breakfast back at KCH.

We appreciate that matches are being held on ANZAC Day this year. However, those that are able to attend the march, we hope to see you there to represent St George in your club polo.

For those who have early morning games at Marrickville or North Sydney, and would like to attend an ANZAC Day Service, services will be held at 6:00am at the following locations, nearby or en-route to your matches:

  • Petersham Town Hall
  • Brighton Le-Sands RSL
  • Arncliffe Park

We hope your calendars are marked and you’re ready to celebrate our mighty club on Saturday 9th May, for our 2026 Bacta’ Day!

This year we will be at our temporary home ground, Kelso Park. But don’t worry, Bacta’ day will still have the same classic energy that you all know and love. Good footy, good mates and good beer!

We look forward to seeing you all at Back to St George Day! Non-playing memberships will be available on the day.
