Exciting news – The Dragons Golf Day is back!!
Save the date for St George AFC’s Golf Day to be held on Friday 13th March 2026

You may have seen on social media that the
2026 St George AFC Golf Day
is back on Friday March 13th at Hurstville Golf Course with a 1pm shotgun start. The event will be a ‘4 ball best ball’ ambrose event. Lots of prizes and awards!!!
Interested in playing? Bring your mates – don’t miss out!!
What a great way to catch up with footy mates or introduce some news friends to the St George AFC family. Let us know if you wish to play, or if you have a group of 4 even better!!
$125 per player (includes golf, pre and post match food, drinks)
$100 for registered St George AFC players.
Carts can be arranged at an extra cost.

Golf Day Sponsorship Opportunities.
We have already had lots of interest from sponsors and we already have 7 holes covered. If you are able to, or know someone who may be interested, we are keen to get sponsors for the day. The details are below:
As you know, St George AFC is a community-based club with nearly 100 years of history in the NSW/ACT AFL. The St George Dragons are the only Premier Division club in southern Sydney, and we have proudly played at the highest level of AFL Sydney competition, since our inception in 1928.
Our home ground is Olds Park in Penshurst, which is about 30 minutes from the Sydney CBD. With our own clubhouse and one of the best playing surfaces in the competition, our facilities are amongst the best in Sydney

Our annual golf day attracts over 100+ players on average who enjoy a day of golf, networking and engaging with our sponsors and local community members. We also have an extensive online presence and membership following locally, interstate and overseas!
The sponsors packages for the golf day are as follows:
Bronze: Hole Sponsorship: $1k : this gives your company marketing rights and ‘ownership’ of the hole to promote your company how you see fit. Have fun with it! Games and merchandise are highly recommended. Limited to 16 sponsors (includes a group of 4 to play golf)
Silver: “Front 9 or Back 9” : $5k : this gives you major coverage across either the front nine or back nine holes. Branding on each hole with additional ‘ownership’ to the 1st tee and or 18th tee. Limited to 2 sponsors. (includes a group of 4 to play golf).
Gold: Event Sponsor: $10k : this gives you naming rights sponsorship rights for the whole golf day. Limited to 1 sponsor (includes a group of 4 to play golf)
We support our golf with an extensive electronic marketing and social media campaign. We have a very strong social media presence that attracts high volumes of traffic through our various platforms (Facebook, Instagram, our St George AFC Dragons website).
We love supporting local businesses big and small to achieve a new and deeper reach in the local community.
